New Spring Corps Members, Trained and Prepared to Lead
Interim Corps Members from Winter recruitment joined with brand new corps members for several evenings of training, food, and discussion. Lead by Training Management Fellow Suzanne Hilal and Regional Manager Cody Meirick, the sessions spanned the coaching model that National Coaching Fellows represents. From the intricacies of coaching in high-needs schools to keeping high expectations with student-athletes, the topics covered are essential for corps members that will be finding themselves in neighborhood schools very soon.
